London's Royal Mews houses the monarch's prized carriages, from opulent gold coaches to sleek state vehicles. This historic site, once royal stables, offers a peek into the world of royal transport and the pageantry of state occasions.
Royal Collection Trust (RCT) were looking for a new supplier to bring a fresh approach to interpreting a number of their sites, including the Royal Mews, which welcome millions of visitors every year from around the world.
Visitors to the Royal Mews can explore the stables and meet the King’s horses, view the magnificent collection of carriages and marvel at the limousines used for state duties by the King and the Royal Family.
ATS designed an all new multimedia guide with a contemporary narrative, presenting a range of content including audio, video, fun animations, interviews with staff and a series of interactives for younger audiences. We also addressed the wayfinding challenges around the site with maps and interface designs.
Available to all visitors in several languages, Audio Described and BSL, the tour provides high quality accessible interpretation for all visitors.
