The National Gallery of Ireland, in collaboration with the Musée national Picasso-Paris, is delighted to present Picasso: From the Studio, a major monographic exhibition of the work of Pablo Picasso (1881-1973), proudly supported by KPMG Ireland, Exhibition Partner.
The National Gallery of Ireland approached ATS with a clear vision for an audio tour designed to elevate the general visitor experience of their Picasso exhibition.
The Gallery specifically requested an engaging and informative audio guide that would steer visitors through the most significant sections of the display. The core goal was to move beyond simple descriptions and instead creatively focus on several key highlights, offering a deeper insight into Pablo Picasso's work and complex life.
To provide a structured and manageable experience, the Gallery stipulated that the tour must be divided into five distinct chapters. Furthermore, they ensured a focused narrative by requiring that each stop feature a single work from the exhibition as the central topic for discussion and analysis. This structured approach was intended to allow visitors to fully absorb the details, context, and stories behind the featured masterpieces.
ATS successfully delivered a streamlined and user-friendly solution for the National Gallery of Ireland's Picasso exhibition in the form of a 30-minute audio guide.
This guide was made easily accessible to all general visitors as a Progressive Web Application (PWA), allowing the content to be consumed directly on personal devices without requiring a separate app download. To ensure the tour spoke to a diverse audience, it was made available in both Irish (Gaelic) and English.
Focusing on the presentation, ATS took responsibility for the entire digital experience. This included designing the user interface (UI) and building the PWA's interface, ensuring the final product was fully consistent and aligned with the client's established branding for a seamless, professional aesthetic.
