We're thrilled to announce ATS is partnering with Dunrobin Castle to produce an all-new adult self-guided tour in English, French, German and Italian plus a family tour option.
Dunrobin Castle is the most northerly of Scotland’s great houses and the largest in the Northern Highlands.
Perched on a high terrace above walled gardens, with fairytale spires and turrets, it rises above the North Sea like an illustration from a storybook. It is also one of Britain’s oldest continuously inhabited houses dating back to the early 1300s, home to the Earls and later, the Dukes of Sutherland.
The Castle, which resembles a French château, has seen the architectural influences of Sir Charles Barry, who designed London’s Houses of Parliament, and Scotland’s own Sir Robert Lorimer.
Head of Partnerships, Anna Gregory, says:
“Dunrobin Castle is an absolutely fantastic site, set against the beautiful Scottish Highland coast, and Senior Producer, Louise Wainwright, and I were lucky enough to see it for ourselves.
This project has been such a pleasure to work on. We’ve created an immersive adult tour, a fun and engaging family tour, as well as high-quality translations. I can’t wait to see it all brought to life on our stunning Focus 3 Multimedia Guide devices.”
