A New Chapter for ATS: Welcoming Our First Interns

Published: 6 Nov 2025

This summer marked an exciting milestone for ATS as we welcomed our very first cohort of interns into the company.

Launching our internship programme was a new venture, and we’re thrilled to say it’s been a resounding success not only for the interns, who gained hands-on experience and industry insight, but also for our team, who benefited from fresh perspectives and enthusiastic contributions.

The positive impact of this initiative has inspired us to continue developing internship opportunities, with plans to expand the programme across other departments in the future.

For us it is a perfect step forward in nurturing emerging talent, building partnerships with local institutions and creating a more collaborative, inclusive workplace.

Behind the Scenes: My Summer as a Production Intern at ATS by Tala Murley

This summer, I had the incredible opportunity to join ATS as a Production Intern - an experience that far surpassed my expectations and left a lasting impact on my journey as a film production student.

From the outset, I was immersed in a wide range of production activities. I contributed to pre-production planning, quality checking, script development and even post-production tasks like audio editing and mastering new software tools.

The hands-on nature of the internship gave me a broader understanding of the industry than I ever imagined possible in such a short time.

One of the most memorable parts of my internship was attending multiple shoot days, including filming with the Household Cavalry and UHVD. These experiences were not only exciting but also deeply educational.

I was encouraged to share my thoughts on shot composition and equipment choices -something that made me feel truly valued as part of the team.

Beyond the technical skills, these shoot days offered something even more special: the chance to connect with a diverse group of people, hear their stories and learn from their experiences. It was a reminder of the collaborative spirit that drives great media production.

I’m incredibly grateful to the entire team at ATS for their warm welcome and support throughout the internship. I’ve grown so much, both professionally and personally, and I’m excited to carry these insights forward as I continue to explore the world of media and production.
